Mr. Stern has focused on acquisitions of multifamily properties nationwide since 1995. Since joining Waterton, Mr. Stern has sourced in excess of $750 million of acquisitions in markets around the Midwest, West Coast, and Southwest regions. Currently, Mr. Stern heads up our acquisition efforts in the western region of the United States.

Prior to joining Waterton, Mr. Stern served as Manager of Acquisitions and Dispositions for Moran and Company, where he was responsible for the Midwest and Denver regions. Before that Mr. Stern was Vice President of Acquisitions for TVO Realty Partners. During his five year tenure at TVO, the company purchased 12,000 units with a capitalization of approximately $1 billion. Mr. Stern currently sits on the ULI Multi-family Silver Council. Mr. Stern received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Economy at The Colorado College.
